Having initially worked for Redpath Dorman Long, building offshore platforms for the North Sea oil and gas development, Alan obtained an HNC in Construction, Building & Civil Engineering at the University of Teesside in the UK. For family reasons he moved back to Dublin in 1974, where he started work for Atlas Copco as Branch manager. In 1984 he moved to Antwerp, Belgium, the headquarters for the Compressor Business Area, with resposnsibility for Portable Air Compressors and Generators. This was followed by assignments as Sales Company MD in Korea '92-'97, USA '97-'00, Japan '00-'08 before returning to Seoul where he is currently based.

Gary joined Edwards in 1999 and has held senior finance and operational positions in
UK,Singapore and Korea. He is an executive member of the British Chamber of Commerce in Korea and a special Ambassador for Foreign Investment for Chungnam Province in Korea. He has a bachelor of Business Studies from Trinity College Dublin, a Masters from UCD and is a qualified accountant.

Mick is the Controller for Chartis Insurance Korea, the general insurance operation of AIG. He has
been with AIG since 1992 in auditor and controller roles and spent 12 years in Jakarta, Indonesia before his current posting to Seoul, Korea in 2007. Mick is a qualified accountant, a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.

Seongil is the Representative of Kerry Korea, Korea Liasion of Kerry Group. He has been with Kerry since 2004. Before he joined Kerry, he had worked for Unilever and ICI as sales and marketing manager.

Gerard Consulting
Des is President of Gerard Consulting, a trading and consulting company based in Seoul. Previously he worked as an investment advisor to various Korean government organizations. Prior to Korea, Des worked as a UK-based finance manager in the Telecoms industry working with British Telecom and later with New York New England Telephone (NYNEX). He is a UCD Engineering graduate and a UK-qualified Chartered Management Accountant.

Enterprise Ireland
Dianne Rhee was appointed as the first director of Enterprise Ireland’s Korea office. Ms Rhee is responsible for the promotion of economic links between Ireland and Korea with specific responsibility for the promotion of Irish exports and technology links between the two countries. Before joining Enterprise Ireland, Dianne Rhee worked as Marketing Director of the Pediatric Nutrition Division at Abbott Laboratory/Abbott International-Korea. She has also had years of experience in marketing and brand management in a wide range of sectors, working for the Agricultural Trade Office of U.S. Embassy in Korea, BMW Korea and Walt Disney Korea.
After graduating from Ewha Women's University with a B.A. in political science & diplomacy, she began her professional career as a PR/Promotional Specialist at the Agricultural Trade Office of the US Embassy. At BMW Korea, she worked as market manager in charge of all consumer and dealer marketing activities
including advertisement, promotion, events and brand management. At Walt Disney Korea, she was Sr. Marketing Manager of the Consumer Product Division.

Francis entered the Civil Service in October 1971, in the Office of the Revenue Commissioners, as an Executive Officer and joined the Department as a third Secretary, February, 1977. Graduated University College Dublin, July, 1977 BA and University of Wales, Lampeter-now Trinity St. David, July, 2005 MTH. He is now the First Secretary, Embassy, Seoul since 1 August, 2008.
